Microsoft announced the other day that it will make significant expansions to its strategy game series Age of Empires. First of all, the company announced a new Age of Empires game and also stated that it will bring the series to the mobile world with Age of Empires Mobile.
Age of Empires Mobile will be released in 2024
New gameplay details for Age of Empires Mobile. Developed by Timi Studio, the strategy game will bring the iconic series to Android and iOS devices. Players will initially take control of four civilizations: the French, Romans, Chinese and Byzantines.
Players will be able to lead historical heroes such as Barbarossa and the Queen of Sheba on the battlefield. Key features include online battles with hundreds of players on the same map. Classic 1v1 battles will also be available.
Players who want to have fun alone will be able to build their empires and explore randomly generated dungeons. The game has been developed for mobile devices with 3D graphics and touch controls.
Players can currently pre-register for Age of Empires on the App Store and Google Play Store to receive exclusive in-game rewards. Although it is stated to be released in 2024, let us remind you that no official date has been given.
